"Romsey Archway u3a’s photography group is low-key, being led by the members rather than an individual, with a mix of learning and social activity with monthly shoots with coffee or lunch to follow. We review our photos with a follow up Zoom meeting.
The group is friendly and enthusiastic and keen to keep learning. When our Convener noticed the Found in Nature theme of the competition and let the group know, a number of us had accumulated enough shots in our catalogues to submit a few to join in the initiative and compare our work with others. Apart from contributing to the national stage as it were, it makes us think about the level we are at and wish to attain.
We will try to keep contributing especially where the theme matches previous shoots we have undertaken as a group."
