Olympian Roger Black has wished u3a members a happy anniversary.
Roger Black is known for his athletic career including winning silver medals at the Olympic Games for Great Britain in the 400 meters sprint. Black has worked with u3a before; recently talking about his career and staying fit in later life in an an online u3a event.
He is the latest celebrity to wish u3a a happy anniversary in our 40th year. In a video shared on our social media platforms, Black says, "Hello, it's Roger Black here, wishing everyone involved in the u3a a u3a a very very happy anniversary.
"I so enjoyed spending time online with some of the members. You're a fantastic organisation. Happy anniversary."
