Inspired by the chimneys and old factories of the North West but turned into patchwork colour. The start of technology and the Industrial Revolution. The original photo from which the image was made was from the early 20th century and taken by my father, a professional photographer all his life.

I was asked to paint this Harley Bike by a friend who owns a Harley. he now has the original!

This is a ‘painting’ using modern technology. I am an artist and paint using watercolour and acrylics but I am now exploring using my iPad to create works such as this.

NASA Mission to the sun, we all painted a version of this at our u3a art group. Mine is watercolour, with a little ink .

Inspired by Concorde. with its 4 Rolls Royce turbojet engines and normal cruising speed of 1,350 m.p.h.

Old technology in need of major TLC - Pen, ink &waterclour

My watercolour painting is very old technology named the British Red Telephone Box.

Due to modern technology we are now able to watch young birds being feed in their nests from a monitor in our own homes.

The GCHQ Listening Station on the cliffs at Morwenstow collecting data.

This is an ordinary diesel train at an ordinary station. However, all the architectural and technology aspects are very interesting drawing the eye into some interesting symmetries and feeling of perspective.

My painting is a view of technology changing from a windmill to wind farms. 

My entry for the 'Technology' theme is an Ink and Watercolour image on Mixed Media paper showing that modern technology doesn't always prove to be as helpful as it might be. Maybe it's time to get one of the grandchildren in to sort it out!
