After a busy career as a commercial lawyer I’ve been able to return to my love of history and the British landscape. Years of research, study and writing have led to the publication of my first history book. I can travel up to 30 miles for in person talks.

This talk focuses on some, often erratic, events and stages in the 10,000 years from the last Ice Age through the stone age and new cultures to Roman Britain, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings before the triumph of Wessex and creation of England and the English.
