A brief history of the game of Chess

A look at when, where & how chess started based on the latest research. We will follow the development of the game, looking at how it spread across Europe and how, when, and where it arrived in England. We will look at how the game of chess developed in England up to more recent times.

  • Speakers must only be contacted in relation to hosting their talk(s) listed on the u3a website.
  • These speakers are to be contacted by u3a members only, and the talks must be presented to u3a groups only.
