I lived and worked for many years close to Alexandra Palace. It was a lovely place to stop for lunch and look over London. I also managed the installation of an electrical substation during the rebuild after the second fire.

Alexandra Palace is one of those places that looms over its surroundings. It has had a varied history with many ups and downs. Is still going strong. My talk looks through the history of the palace up to the present day.
