This talk comprises of an introduction to nuclear reactions a comparison of chemical reactions with nuclear reactions, a history of nuclear energy; from foe to friend a comparison of nuclear energy with chemical energy, an explanation of controlled fission reaction for energy production, fusion reactors -technical challenges and the pros & cons of fission and fusion.
