Thinking outside the box is being creative. On a daily basis we are being creative, sometimes without even thinking about it.

In Art Group last week we painted the telephone box so I just added the man thinking.

A black and white copy of a day time watercolour enhanced with pen to darken it. Overlapped and then the night cut through to reveal the day.

Our u3a Art Group have been looking at elements of composition and abstract. I saw the August title and thought that abstract art is essentially art “outside the box”. So I sketched a box with thought bubbles emerging, used watercolour then glitter pens and B&W acrylic to doodle.
