u3a members are invited to join u3a maths week- three interactive events on Monday 9, Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 November.
The week aims to be enjoyable, stimulating and inspiring and is aimed at people of all abilities, including those who may have considered themselves retired from any maths!
The sessions are about having a go, and as always with maths there are lots of different ways to approach the different puzzles, which is often just as interesting as the answer. You might also want to take back what you’ve learnt to your u3a maths group or form your own one.
In addition, to the u3a maths week we are organising a prize draw. There is an exciting prize available for the winner of the maths draw. Further details of the prize draw to follow shortly.
u3a Maths Week is running alongside Maths Week England
